Ingredients
- 1 kg pork shoulder, cut into strips
- 3 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp light soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Shaoxing wine
- 1 tsp five-spice powder
- 4 cloves, grated garlic

- Whisk all ingredients except half the honey into a marinade and coat the pork strips.
- Marinate covered in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight, reserving the leftover marinade.
- Roast on a rack at 425F for 20 minutes, then flip.
- Simmer the reserved marinade with the remaining honey into a glaze.
- Brush the pork with glaze and roast 15 to 20 minutes more until caramelized at the edges and 145F inside.
- Rest 10 minutes, then slice; portion and refrigerate or freeze for later meals.
